Activism, writing, concocting extraordinarily delectable, stupefyingly nutritious foods (always taste best when shared) music;playing guitar, percussion instuments, reading, absorbing information, watching - news, documentaries, indie films, performing meaningful work, volunteering (for progressive movements and unfortunate beings in need of a meal, a hand up, a shoulder to cry on, etc, etc, etc..., TRAVEL

The Wackness, The Opposite of Sex, anything Michael Moore (and documtaries in general) ex; Tom Dowd and the Language of Music...mostly gravitate towards "indie", more low budget, excellent writing/direction/content....not into big budget formula movies, cars crashing, explosions, gratituous T&A...Wings of Desire was a favorite that comes to mind - WALLE was actually quite inspirational...You must remember I've been isolating for a few years so I'm a little behind on my movie-going. I used to be a huge film buff...used to be into a lot of things.

This list would be too long - going back to influences from the sixties, seventies and eighties and mostly "indie" music that is hard to hear or get exposure to these days....Love Sinead O'Connor, Jeff Buckley, Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, Neko Case, Steve Earle, Wilco, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, The Pogues, Damien Rice, Ricky Lee Jones, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Portishead, Peter Gabriel...I'm sure there's a plethora of new artists, even some stuff I've heard lately, but I'm not aware of the names...was always a "singer/musician/songwriter" form of artist...Loved Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana, some great bands here and there - Jazz, twang - lets make this simple - probably like just about anything but: Commercial (radio play) music, commercial, red neck "country", any and all disco, diva music (big on severe, over-showy vocal undulation, or as my mother calls it, yodeling....)
