Self Talk
Posted On 07/02/2010 22:43:27 by sarahce

Ok, I understand depression, I have severe bipolar depression that is untreatable with meds. I've been there, but I don't let myself stay there and I don't understand why anyone else would either. It doesn't feel good. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like to not feel good. I don't like to wallow when I'm not well. I just don't s... Read More

Easy does it

Over a year ago I once again slipped into the black shroud of major depression, a depressi... Read More

Nuts, Crazy, Insane, Shitzo, Bonkers, Not Quite Right, these are a few of the terms people use to describe people living with mental illness and by no means the only ones there are hundreds if not thousands. No other illness has so many adjectives, don't believe me just try and find other names for Diabetics. So why this? why my condition? Why is there such a stigma on Mental Illness?

I have felt the sting of the stigma of mental illness, have felt the nervous disconnect&nbs... Read More

Thanks to Joey

Thank you Joey for having the Courage to stand up and tell the world that you are not alright with your self and needed help. So many people are afraid to do so for fear that it makes them look weak. Not true it takes a real man to Admit he has a problem and get it checked out properly. I've been dealing with my man for 30 yrs. The ups and down the inability to earn enough money to have a real life. No savings to fall back on, still renting and living check to check. His insistance on having... Read More
