Eliminate the Stigma of Mental Illness! The brain can and does get sick. This is not "laziness, weakness, not trying hard enough to buck up." Mental Illnesses are medical disorders that can be diagnosed and treated to greatly improve quality of life. Each one teach one!

Stuff I love:
The Arts!
Music, Movies, Dance, Theatre, Museums
Reading about psychology, neurology, anthropology ... just anything about how people tick.
Learning new things.
Spending time just talking with good peeps.
Playing piano, singing (when I'm not having a panic attack)

Laughing uproariously at Craig Ferguson dancing and singing with puppets.

So many!
To Kill A Mockingbird
2001: A Space Odyssey
Annie Hall
Rear Window
Memento
The Pledge
Se7en
Silence of the Lambs
Capote
Magnolia
United 93
Jacob's Ladder
The Remains of the Day
Ordinary People
Pollock (did I spell that correctly?)
Canvas
Citizen Kane
Signs
Doubt

Directors:
Tim Burton
Kubrick
Truffaut
Woody Allen

Favorite actors these days ...
Philip Seymour Hoffman
Helen Mirren

60s, 70s, 80s pop/rock/disco!
Classical -- orchestra, great choral masterworks like Brahms "A German Requiem"
6 summers at National Music Camp, Interlochen, years ago. Best years of my life.

Favorite authors: Oliver Sacks, M.D., V.S. Ramachandran, M.D.

I should branch out into some lighter fare I think. Oh, more stuff on Buddhism these days -- Thich Nhat Hahn, "The Miracle of Mindfulness"
